Childhood Care & Immunisations
At Donacarney Medical Centre, we provide complete care for children from birth through their teenage years. Our skilled team handles common illnesses and answers any concerns parents may have.
Routine Childhood Vaccinations
We offer all the standard childhood vaccines to protect your child from various diseases. We can also provide additional vaccines if needed, such as for chickenpox. Keeping up with vaccinations is important for your child’s health.
Immunisation Schedule
Vaccinations are a safe and effective way to protect your child from serious diseases. They are much safer than the diseases themselves.

School Vaccination Programme
During the school year, we offer vaccinations to:
- Young children for common illnesses.
- Secondary school students for HPV, Tdap, and MenACWY.
These vaccines are also available for children in special schools or those who are home-schooled. If you have questions about the school vaccination programme, our team can help.
HPV Vaccines
The HPV vaccine helps prevent certain cancers and genital warts caused by the virus. It’s available for both boys and girls and is most effective when given early.
HPV Vaccines
We provide a nasal flu vaccine for children aged 2 to 17. This vaccine helps protect your child from flu and stops the flu from spreading to others. To book an appointment, please contact our reception.
